Gender And Violence
Abstract
Starting from the information about the international agreements
signed by several Member States of the United Nations about
the international concern on violation of women's rights, a
discussion on concepts regarding gender and violence is
presented. Ciphers that warn on the consequences of gender
violence in Latin America, particularly in México are also given,
putting forward the need of clear policy-making to eliminate
this social wrong, which constitutes a generalizad problem in
the region.
